This 2018 Georgia Women of Achievement source features a 5 minute documentary on the Georgia Women of Achievement Inductee- Susie King Taylor, an African American Civil War nurse, educator and laundress. The video themes include Taylor's: upbring in Midway Georgia, education in secret schools in Savannah, escape from slavery, service in the Union Army, marriage to a Union soldier, establishment of freed people's schools in Savannah and Midway, service as a domestic servant in Boston and her racial justice activism. The documentary features: historian Hermina Glass-Hill.
