The South Carolina Legislature presents a resolution passed by the South Carolina General Assembly in 2015 that recognized the 150th anniversary of Brick Baptist Church on St. Helena Island in Beaufort, South Carolina. The house resolution notes the church's religious impact on the island, as well as its role in educating formerly enslaved African Americans on the Sea Islands after emancipation.
