The account says, "earnestly believing that Andrew Johnson deserves impeachment for his many infractions of just and salutary laws, thereby extending aid and comfort to the avowed enemies of the Government he was sworn to support and protect, we cannot but hope that the verdict of the Court will be 'Guilty.'"
