The Library of Congress features an 1866 historical print, created by B. B. Russell & Co., that depicts black and white portraits of individuals labelled as "Pioneers of Freedom," including Senator Charles Sumner (LR-MA)--the leader of the anti-slavery forces in Massachusetts and the Radical Republicans in the United States Senate, Henry Ward Beecher, Wendell Phillips, W. Lloyd Garrison, Cerrit Smith, Horace Greeley, and Henry Wilson.
